El gobierno estatal analiza a detalle todos los apoyos que los familiares de las víctimas recibieron tras la tragedia, así como lo pendiente de cubrir
A cinco años del ataque al Casino Royale autoridades de Nuevo León hicieron una guardia de honor frente a lo que fue el centro de apuestas, en memoria de las 52 personas fallecidas.
Manuel González Flores, secretario general de Gobierno, y Genaro Alanis, director de Gobierno, acudieron al lugar con una ofrenda floral y en silencio realizaron la guardia luctuosa.
Se trata, dijo González Flores, de recordar con respeto “a las personas que perdieron la vida por actos de delincuencia organizada, que maltrataron e hirieron mucho al país en años pasados”.
Dentro de este contexto, indicó, el gobierno estatal analiza a detalle todos los apoyos que los familiares de las víctimas recibieron tras la tragedia, así como lo pendiente de cubrir.
“Estamos retomando la gestoría que años atrás se llevó a cabo por otros gobiernos, ya sean municipales, estatales”, señaló el funcionario estatal.
“Estamos viendo las becas que se habían otorgado a algunos de los familiares, los escritos (que contienen la información) en donde el gobierno del estado, vía la Procuraduría, apoyaba con la responsabilidad civil”, apuntó.
De igual forma, agregó el funcionario estatal, “los escritos que tenían qué ver con la posibilidad de apoyo en la Defensoría de Oficio para los familiares”.
“Vamos a revisar a detalle el estatus de estas gestiones y, bueno, en donde la competencia sea de gobierno del estado nosotros emitiremos respuesta como la ley lo plantea y donde no llevaremos a la instancia que corresponda y se les pueda dar respuesta”, remarcó.
Actualmente el gobierno del estado, en conjunto con autoridades del municipio Monterrey, concluye un monumento en honor a las víctimas, sobre la avenida San Jerónimo, justo frente al inmueble donde hasta el 25 de agosto de 2011 operó el Casino Royale.
