En esta temporada de lluvia, los mexiquenses cuentan con las líneas de emergencia del Centro de Operaciones de Monitoreo y Concentración de Información (COMCI), 01800-201-2489, en el Valle de México, y 01800-201-2490, en el Valle de Toluca, para reportar encharcamientos, inundaciones o cualquier alerta relacionada con la infraestructura hidráulica estatal.
Los operadores del COMCI brindan asesoría y atención especializada en caso de fugas y desabasto de agua potable, fallas de los sistemas de drenaje, así como atención de emergencias durante la temporada de lluvia.
“Atendemos a la población las 24 horas del día, los 365 días del año, recibiendo llamadas por falta de agua, fugas, derrames de combustible o accidentes relacionados, todo lo que tiene que ver con la infraestructura de la Comisión del Agua del Estado de México”, indicó una de las voces al otro lado de la línea telefónica del Centro de Operaciones.
El COMCI, dependiente de la Comisión del Agua del Estado de México (CAEM), monitorea las condiciones meteorológicas de la entidad para, en caso de ser necesario, activar los protocolos de atención que permiten disminuir los riesgos o daños por inundaciones.
“Mandamos personal, el llamado Grupo Tláloc. Contamos con camiones tipo presión-succión, que sirven para hacer trabajo de desazolve, trabajo de sondeo de la red; tenemos equipos de bombeo para el desalojo de aguas en viviendas y equipos especializados para desalojar el agua, cuando los niveles son muy altos en las calles”, afirmó un asesor del COMCI.
