La tarde de este miércoles, el Pleno de Legislatura local aprobó por mayoría reformas al Código Civil de Querétaro, modificación con la cual podrán contraer matrimonio las personas del mismo sexo.
Con esta reforma se dejará de exigir la presentación de un amparo a las personas que solicitan ante el Registro Civil para que sus uniones sean tramitadas.
La aprobación se dio a puerta cerrada y sin transmisión en redes sociales y pagina web, además contó con el apoyo de 21 votos a favor y 4 en contra.
Votaron en contra la diputada independiente Elsa Méndez Álvarez y la diputada María Concepción Herrera Martínez, de Querétaro Independiente. Salieron del recinto durante la votación los diputados Miguel Ángel Torres Olguín y Leticia Rubio, ambos del PAN.
