El expresidente Felipe Calderón afirmó que no teme al juicio de la historia y retó a quienes cuestionan lo que realizaron los gobiernos federales de extracción panista. Al respaldar a Octavio Pedroza y a Enrique Galindo, candidatos de la coalición “Sí por San Luis” a la gubernatura y a la alcaldía de la capital estatal, respectivamente, advirtió que el país corre peligro de convertirse en una dictadura.
Ante simpatizantes de PRI, PAN, PRD y Conciencia Popular indicó que no van a permitir que 128 millones de almas libres se convierta en el capricho de un solo hombre, “no tememos al juicio de la historia, retamos a quienes cuestionan lo que hemos hecho, les puedo decir con el corazón en la mano y dicho de frente que en nuestros gobiernos la pobreza extrema se redujo 25 por ciento, fuimos capaces de sacar de la pobreza extrema a 13 millones de mexicanos”, agregó.
Por su parte, el candidato a la alcaldía capitalina, Enrique Galindo, reconoció que Felipe Calderón Hinojosa inyectó una importante cantidad de recursos para la seguridad en San Luis Potosí. En su oportunidad, el abanderado a la gubernatura del estado, Octavio Pedroza, dijo que en esta entidad no pasa y no llegará el mal gobierno, señalando directamente a Morena y al gallardismo, hoy cobijado por el Partido Verde Ecologista.
