Una mujer originaria de Tinum, Yucatán, dejó plantado a su prometido el día de su boda para irse con un hombre 20 años mayor que ella.
Rebeca, de 23 años, huyó de su boda para reencontrarse con el amor de su vida, un hombre de 43 años que vivía en el municipio de Uayma.
Sus padres pidieron ayuda a la policía estatal para localizarla y una vez que la encontraron, ella se negó a volver a casa, informó El Universal.
Al ser mayor de edad, las autoridades le informaron a los padres que la joven estaba con su pareja bajo su voluntad y no podían hacer algo al respecto.
Finalmente, los padres aceptaron la decisión de su hija. Presuntamente el matrimonio había sido arreglado por ellos.
