La Procuraduría General de la República decomisó más de 28 millones de pesos a una organización delictiva que opera principalmente en Jalisco, así lo informó José Arturo López Ibarra, titular de la Unidad Especializada en Investigación de Terrorismo, Acopio y Tráfico de Armas.
De acuerdo con información de Excélsior, se presume que los recursos los manejaban “Los Cuinis”, célula delictiva que funciona como brazo financiero del Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG).
Luego de dar cumplimiento a una orden de cateo en un domicilio ubicado en el municipio de Zapopan, se aseguró el inmueble con un valor de alrededor de cinco millones de pesos. Además, se encontró dinero en efectivo en dólares, euros y pesos, así como armamento de grueso calibre, vehículos y joyas, lo cual sumaba 28 millones de pesos.
Es decir, una caja fuerte con 19 millones de pesos en moneda nacional y extranjera, de los cuales había 62 mil 500 euros y 945 mil dólares estadunidenses, y alhajas con un valor aproximado de cuatro millones de pesos. Finalmente, se decomisaron dos armas de fuego de uso exclusivo del Ejército y tres automóviles.
