El Gobierno de la Ciudad de México retiró alrededor de mil puestos ambulantes que se ubicaban en sobre Eje 1 Norte para mejorar la imagen urbana.
Cerca de mil 250 personas trabajaron desde las 22:00 horas del lunes y hasta las 06:00 horas de este martes para liberar la acera sur de las calles Brasil a Aztecas, donde se desmantelaron alrededor de 700 estructuras y techumbres metálicas, así como puestos fijos y semifijos; y la acera norte, entre Peralvillo y Jesús Carranza, en la que retiraron aproximadamente 300.
Esta acción forma parte del proyecto integral de rehabilitación de 1.6 kilómetros que se realiza entre las avenidas Paseo de la Reforma y Anillo de Circunvalación.
“Éste tiene la finalidad de mejorar la imagen urbana, reordenar la zona comercial y recuperar espacios, así como liberar accesos a estaciones del Metro y facilitar la movilidad de las y los usuarios de la vía pública”, sostuvo el Gobierno de la Ciudad de México.
Además se liberaron las entradas y salidas de la estación Lagunilla del Sistema de Transporte Colectivo Metro.
